Like JoeTexan pointed out in the post below, it is very predictable that when an event like this occurs, the first inclination of the media is to try to pin it to a "right-wing" extremist. It doesn't usually turn out that way and the media never admits their mistake, of course.
It's amazing how many organizations are pointing at Sarah Palin today. She had a political map with cross-hair symbols over some democrat districts, but then so did the dickhead who runs the daily kos. Yet the daily kos posted an article today blaming Palin? Exactly why is it ok for a leftwing extremist to do the same thing they beat up on a Republican for? I guess I am still surprised by the complete hypocrisy of the left.
Like I said yesterday, my sympathies go out to the victims of this tragedy and their families.
This act was not done by a right-wing extremist. It was done by a nutjob. I read earlier that some government agency would be paying a visit to the gun store where this idiot purchased his handgun. You can bet that it was purchased legally and that the fault lies with the system beyond the store.
We are headed for dark days in this Country. Every time obama and congress vote to take away more of our rights or restrict our freedoms more people get angry, and not all of them are nutjobs. There doesn't seem to be any end to the over-reach of this government. They continue to force things we do not want upon us. Where do you think this is leading? What do you think the end result will be? It's not going to be what obama is expecting, he thinks we will just roll over and take it. He is wrong.
